It was a beautiful day the sun was shining and team 4 were off to Kelly Tarltons. “Line up at the door, it’s time to go to the hall” said Miss Lavakula. Miss Garden said the prayer for us to have a safe and happy day. I was excited as we climbed on the bus. When we got to Kelly Tarltons Room 13 and 16 went to the school room. A lady called Janice was there. She talked to us about lots of different things that are in Antarctica. She told us about Scott Base. It is painted green because it reminds them about the grass in New Zealand. Janice dressed Promise in clothes they wore in Antarctica in the old days. He had on brown baggy pants and top, a balaclava, deerskin gloves and boots. He looked very cool. “I bet he is hot” I thought to myself. We left the classroom and went to Okahu Bay park to have our morning tea. we had to walk in the wet grass and then we had our lac After that we went to the park and then we went on the fly fox. We walked back to the Kelly Tarltons and then we saw a Shark car and it was cool. When we walked around, we saw a big fish and then we went to see the penguins and it was cool. And then we went to see the big Octopus and it was big. We went to see the Seahorses and they were very small. There was an electric eel and they were big. I saw a Shark it had big teeth.

One day there was a penguin called Jack. he was swimming in the water and then a big hungry seal came and ate the penguin. Jack’s family was so sad. They buried him in the snow and broke the iceberg and it floated away.

Stormy Weather

This morning I was walking to school

and I heard a big booming noise. It was

a loud noise and it was raining hard. I

got very wet and when I got to school I went by heater to get dry.

My Holiday

In the holidays I was playing on my X box. I played Black Ops. It is a shooting game. I watched a movie I watched Wreck it Ralph. I liked the part when they were fighting the alien cybugs. My favourite part was when Wreck it Ralph got the medal.

My Exciting Easter Break

On easter day I went to my dad’s house and

we ate Easter eggs and it was yummy. Two

days later we went to Glen Innes and we had a hangi. There was cooked pork and kumara.

When my dad and I ate it was

nice. After that we went to the beach and we got four easter eggs.When the sun was going down we went home.

On Saturday my family went to the warehouse. My sister and I got one big block of chocolate and then we went to Pak n Save we had to get a drink . Then we had to get some pipis after a while we went to the Gi pools and my mum and dad cooked the meat while my sister and I had a swim.Then my mum and dad called us to have lunch then we went home .
